I met Gerry through our membership in the Lancaster County Democratic Party. Gerry helped elderly and infirm members get to meetings, and also helped them with shopping and yard work. He was a gentleman through and through and never lost his military bearing. His contributions to the community were given from the heart and he will be missed. Condolences to Deane and his family.
